Stacy Aronowitz is the Executive Deputy Inspector General for Legal.

Ms. Aronowitz joined​ the Office of the MTA Inspector General in 2023 from the Office of the New York State Attorney General, where she served in several different capacities for nearly 20 years, including as Deputy Bureau Chief in the Public Integrity Bureau and, most recently, as Counsel to the Criminal Justice Division.

Prior to working at the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Aronowitz was a litigation associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel. She earned her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and her Bachelor of Human Services from Cornell University. 

She also has a dog named Garfunkel and loves Taylor Swift.
